What Are The Skills You Can Work On At Cask Orators?

By attending our weekly meetings, you can

01

Master the Art of Expression

Crafting and delivering prepared speeches helps members build clarity of thought, stage confidence, storytelling ability, and audience connection. It trains you to plan, present, and express ideas with impact.

02

Think Fast, Speak Smart

Table Topics sharpen your ability to think on your feet, speak without preparation, and stay composed under pressure. It builds spontaneity, articulation, presence of mind, and quick confidence.

03

Lead, Organise, Inspire

Beyond meeting roles, members can step into club leadership — from President to Vice Presidents and beyond. Each role helps you develop real-world leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills while shaping the club’s vision and growth. It’s hands-on leadership, done the Cask way.

04

Grow Together, Stay Connected

Being part of Cask connects you with like-minded students and young professionals who share similar goals. Members grow through peer support, collaboration, mentorship, friendships, and collective learning.

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person. In a supportive community or corporate environment, members prepare and deliver speeches, respond to impromptu questions, and give and receive constructive feedback.

It is through this regular practice that members are empowered to meet personal and professional communication goals. Founded in 1924, the organization is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado with approximately 270,000 members in more than 14,000 clubs in 150 countries.
